Abstract
A game for educating women who are to become a mother or planning to become one.This game will take them in a journey of knowledge which are essential for every mother before, during and after pregnancy. A journey which will strengthen the bond between family, father and mother.
In real world learning can be hard and harsh, this game will help women to gain confidence to do and learn things about herself and her baby.The aim of the game is to level the confidence and knowledge by stepwise increment in difficulty and competitiveness. With a motivation of participation of family to share their time and love.
Gameplay
The game has two versions one is based for Urban setting where the new mother learns about the traditional verified knowledge about pregnancy and new born child. Where as the second version is based for Rural setting where the new mother learns about Urban medicines and practices which are verified by the experts.
The elements necessary for playing the games are information cards, question cards of three levels and additional accessory defined as below:


Question Cards
These cards are used by the moderator of the game.
They mention the tier of the question and the answer to it
Information Card
These cards given out to the mother after completing or reaching a checkpoint
Task Cards
These cards are used by the moderator of the game.
They mention the task to be done and some directions
The three styles/ modes which allows different play styles are explained below:
Mother & Father
Vs
Nanny (NPC)
There are two players in the game, mother and father. They are competing with the ultimate enemy Nanny.

Nanny is always moving without caring much about others than the baby

Father is a continuous Question bank who only know what’s best for the baby
-
Mother who is the real struggler and she must answer all the question to prove she is the best.

Tiers of the question card decides the units mother can move

Certain marked checkpoints provides info cards to mother for assistance

Goal is to reach the destination before nanny.
There are multiple players in the game, mother, father and family. They are all in for the baby’s well being trying to take away the baby.

Mother is trying to answer questions being thrown at her by everyone else

Grandmother trying to raise the difficulty so that the baby comes to her side
-
Aunt is all in mood for weird question to play with the baby
-
Father is moderating and asking question such that they can take care of baby all together.

There are four couples in the game. They are all competing with each other to learn new things and gain that confidence that every couple face the same problems

There is a moderator who is handling the point system in board and passing out the given tasks and questions

Couples need to perform the task and answer questions

Moderator also rewards the couple performing good with information card

The couple who did not win need to buy baby gifts to the winning couple.

Board Design
The board was designed in a way that the items such as cards, totem and accessories can fit inside. The board is self packing every time the board can be packed into a hexagonal prism and can also be used as a toybox later on.
The aesthetic chosen for the board is to make the parents attracted as well as children. So, that it can be their own toy at some point.


The game of Mother & Father Vs Nanny is played on the board which is depicting a new born child (left image).
The circular disk in the center can be flipped to access the other two game modes (Mother & Family and
